Native place in Odisha, Mayurbhanj District – Balaram Lohar Known as Chotu Lohar is an Indian choreographer, actor. He made his name for himself on the stage of Dance India Dance season 2 & 3. He rose to fame with the film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. he has Worked with Acclaimed Choreographers such as Remo D’souza, Ganesh Acharya, and Prabhu Deva. He Has Worked on The Promotion of the Film Youngistaan, welcome 2 Karachi, and Commando. He Havewored as an assistant choreographer For the Famous South Film size Zero, Race Gurram, jass k’s Momento, Karle Pyaar Karle, Mr.and Mrs. Sadachari, and Ciragarette ki Tarah. He has work With Celebrated artists such as south superstar Allu Arjun, ShrutiHassan, Mugdha Godse, Prakash Raj, and Bollywood star Siddhart Malhotra, Neha Sharma, Jacky Bhagani, Daler Mehni, Arjumman Mughal, Hitesh Tejwani, Suraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Lauren Gottlieb, Salman Yusuff Khan, Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak, Kavita Tripathi, Angela krislinzki, and Kannada Star Tanya Hop ,Yuva Rajkumar, and All ok and Marathi Star Vaibhav mangle, Prarthana Behere To name a Few. He has for assistant Choreographer for the last 7 Years in Bollywood, Recently working as a choreographer in Hindi Movie Machaan and Kannada song Maramman Disco and 2 songs upcoming movie Shatranj.

Graduated from University of Delhi in specialised subject Tourism in 1975 and joined the Tourism Industry. Worked in Mercury Travels, New Delhi until 1982 then changed the job and Joined ITC promoted International Travel House, New Delhi. In 1986 a group of five colleagues joined together to start their own Destination Management Company in the name of Swagatam Tours. Since then there is no looking back. Holding a honest image in the Tourism industry, grown his business alongwith the partners and winner of several Government and non government awards for showing growth in business. Also held the several office bearer position in Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) is the Natioanal Apex body on the tourism Industry since 2002. Become President of IATO and held the position from 2016-2021.He has been recently elected as Member of SEPC Central Governing Council representing Travel and Tourism Sector for 2021-23. He is also one of the Board of Directors of Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC).
He has travelled abroad extensively and has visited many foreign countries for growing his venture and promoting Indian tourism. He has been especially focussing and promoting tourism in markets like Middle East, Far East, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and UK regions . He has a good reputation and is a well-known personality in tourism industry due to his ethical business practice. He has in-depth knowledge in tourism field. He believes ‘Knowledge is to share’ and actively participates in contributing his knowledge and experience to the younger generation to develop the career in tourism industry. He is always helpful to the needy and poor people. He has an NGO “Social Interactive Training and Education” to help poor children and running free coaching center for BPL students.
